Suspension cable systems
Our range of cables, wire meshes, end terminations and corresponding parts allows to create elegant and efficient suspension installations. From traffic lights to artistic installations, statics solutions with steel cables are tried and tested. X-Line has a broad experience in working together with public authorities, architects as well as artists.
Cables allow to create suspension structures that can span up to 80 metres without additional supports. This does not only create suspension structures that are extremely elegant and minimalistic, but also very efficient and cost-effective with very low maintenance costs. Our range of inox and galvanised steel cables is supplemented by our broad range of end terminations.
Facade design
Ropes and cables are perfectly suited to realize artistic facade decorations, to mount elements, or create semi-transparent facades. Webnet meshes with Webnet ID plates are perfect for decorative use or for the creation of blinds or shutters.
Traffic signalisation
Steel cables can easily span distances up to 60 metres and more. They are low in maintenance and require much less material than steel beams or other carrying structures, which makes them an extremely efficient support for traffic lights, street lamps and overhead contact lines for public transport.
Catenary lighting
Efficiency, flexibility, elegance, low in maintenance: these qualities characterize catenary lighting systems with steel cables. Since they require no space for poles or other supporting structures on the ground, the suspension structure can adapt to spaces of any size: from large open squares to small alleys. Light can be directed exactly to the spot needed and light pollution and energy consumption reduced.
Christmas lighting
Suspension solutions for Christmas lighting are a speciality. The efficiency of cables is especially useful when it comes to seasonal installations. No large mounts are needed and the cables can be conveniently stored when they are not needed. The cables are elegant and almost invisible, letting the Christmas lights shine.
