The Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London has undergone a transformation into the London Stadium - an outdoor stadium and home to West Ham United Football Club.
During the conversion, MMA Architectural Systems provided custom-made Jakob Webnet to help secure the exit areas of the arena. Webnet is made from marine-grade stainless steel and was an excellent choice as it is weather-resistant, durable, and requires little or no maintenance. The Webnet's dimensions make it impossible to climb.
The lightweight design of Webnet security without negatively impacting the stadium's design and does not block the flow of light or air. Webnet to the frames before delivery to the site, which helped ensure quick and easy installation.
