A unique artificial wave needs a unique railing system
'The Wave' is a surfing center that enables surfers of all ages and abilities to surf safe waves all year round.
Our partner in the UK, MMA Architectural, supplied 417 square meters of our Jakob Webnet, the material used as railing infill for a 100-meter viewing platform and a 1,000-square-meter clubhouse.
Webnet for the project due to its outstanding performance, quality, and durability, with the system's fall protection properties perfectly suited to the architect's design. All in all, it was the perfect solution for the Wave project.
Webnet provides an unrestricted yet safe view from both the clubhouse and the pier, giving spectators a unique opportunity not only to watch surfers but also to see up close how around 1,000 waves are created per hour.
