In early 2018, Interlaken's adventure park was destroyed by a storm, but in just four months it was able to reopen.
Storm "Burglind" caused a lot of damage in Switzerland, but it hit the park particularly hard: only one of the ten lanes survived. Out of 130 trees, only about 20 remained. For a short period, the existence of the entire park was threatened. Thanks to generous support and solidarity from the public, the park was rebuilt on nearby land within a few months.
Despite the disaster, there was a glimmer of something positive as the destruction also created the opportunity for new ideas. The reconstruction has benefited the park by offering a completely new design.
Visitors can now test their skills on the ten brand new courses with different difficulty levels, from easy to very difficult.
Ropes, nets, wires and anchors from Jakob Rope Systems ensure that you get the tension you want, but above all it ensures that the safety of the entire park is high thanks to the outstanding quality of their products.
More or less the entire range of Jacob's ropes, cables and nets are used in the park. Everything from traditional fiber ropes to stainless steel cables and wire systems for ziplines and anchors.
