Prevention and security with Webnet
The Rotbach Bridge is a concrete bridge built in the 1970s that spans the Rotbach at a solid height. The bridge was secured using Jakobs Webnet, which was placed horizontally along the long sides of the bridge as a protective net held in place by stainless steel posts and wire ropes.
The function is to prevent someone from falling and injuring themselves from the bridge as the net can catch them instead.
The robust construction of Webnet, which consists of wires intertwined to create a net, is both more durable and virtually maintenance-free than traditional fencing.
