An abandoned industrial zone is reborn - Stücki Business Park

Stücki Bueiness Park transformed a dormant block near the Basel North traffic hub into 6,000 square meters of modern office space, a 140-room hotel and a two-storey shopping mall.

Jakob Rope Systems supplied products for two large-scale facade greening projects with different concepts. At the front, a set of plant containers placed on each of the building's floors creates a horizontal green surface.

The second solution, at the back of the building, is a grid of intersecting lines that extend from ground level via steel stairs to the roof edge. They create a green curtain or wall, which in turn becomes another facade.
