Prevention and security with Webnet
Rotbach Bridge is a concrete bridge built in the 1970s that spans the Rotbach at a considerable height. The bridge was secured using Jakob's Webnet was placed horizontally along the long sides of the bridge as a protective net held in place by posts and stainless steel wire ropes.
The function is to prevent someone from falling and injuring themselves from the bridge as the net can catch them instead.
The robust construction of Webnet consists of wires woven together to form a net, is both more durable and virtually maintenance-free, unlike traditional fence netting.
